Abstract

An illustration from Hermann’s Paradisus batavus (1698) is designated as the lectotype of the Linnaean name Coreopsis alba, basionym of the current name Bidens alba (L.) DC. (Asteraceae). An epitype is designated to make the taxonomic identity of the lectotype unambiguous.
