<p align="justify"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman, serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Collections of <em>Rhodocollybia </em>from the Republic of Korea have been studied. Four species are recognized in the area. Three new species, <em>Rhodocollybia butyraceoides</em>, <em>R. hongneungensis </em>and <em>R</em>. <em>variabilicolor</em>, are described based on their macro- and micromorphological and phylogenetic characteristics. A detailed macro- and micromorphological description of <em>R. maculata</em> based on the Korean collection is also given. Taxonomic and phylogenetic positions of all taxa have been inferred and confirmed by analyses of ITS and LSU sequence data. <p align="justify"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman, serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><em>Tubeufiaceae</em> species have diverse morphologies and habitats and are distributed in both tropical and temperate regions. In the past decade, several new and interesting <em>Tubeufiaceae </em>species were reported from China in aquatic and terrestrial habitats. In this study, we investigated two saprobic species collected on decaying wood in a terrestrial habitat of Xizang Autonomous Region, China. Through phylogenetic analyses of a combined ITS, LSU, <em>tef</em>1-α, and <em>rpb2</em> dataset coupled with detailed morphological examinations, a novel species within <em>Neomanoharachariella </em>was identified. Phylogenetic analyses revealed that this new species formed a sister clade to <em>Neomanoharachariella aquatica</em>, but can be morphologically distinguished by its pale brown, septate, and flexuous conidiophores, alongside dark brown setae that turn hyaline at the apex and distinct muriform conidia. In addition, this study presents the first asexual and geographical record of <em>Acanthostigmina</em> (<em>A. multiseptatum</em>) from China. <em>Acanthostigmina multiseptatum</em> is characterized by micronematous, hyaline, and septate conidiophores with unique pleurogenous and helicoid conidia. </span></span></span></p>YAN-YAN YANGVINODHINI THIYAGARAJADHANUSHKA N. <p align="justify"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman, serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">A nomenclatural and taxonomic analysis is provided for the name <em>Veronica steppacea</em> Kotov (Plantaginaceae: <em>Veronica</em> subg. <em>Pseudolysimachium</em>) and some associated names of plants occurring mainly in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe physiographic zones of southeastern Europe, especially Ukraine. In particular, it is confirmed that the name <em>V. steppacea</em> was validly published in 1954. The first publication of that name in 1927 was invalid because it was published with “the mere mention of the subordinate taxa included in the taxon concerned” (Art. 36.2 of the <em>ICN</em>). Following the current provisions of the <em>ICN</em>, the specimen KW000058110 collected by Kotov in 1949 (“1948” in the protologue is a typo or error) in southeastern Ukraine (Donetsk Region, Volnovakha District, Starohnativka) is designated here as the lectotype of the name <em>V. steppacea</em>, one of three specimens at KW annotated by the author as “types” and belonging to one gathering. A list of main synonyms of <em>V. steppacea</em> (including <em>V. borysthenica</em>, <em>V. cretacea</em>, <em>V. donetzica</em>, <em>V. tzvelevii</em>, etc.) is provided. A corrected type designation is published for the name <em>V. menthifolia</em> H. Schott ex Roem. & Schult.: the illustration in Clusius (1601) is designated as the lectotype and the specimen from the herbarium of H. Schott (BP 348066) is designated as the epitype. Most probably <em>V. menthifolia</em> is conspecific with <em>V. barrelieri </em>(referring to an eastern Submediterranean European taxon), and thus the name <em>V. steppacea</em> should be used for related southeastern European plants. Several potential amendments of the <em>ICN</em> are briefly considered based on the nomenclatural cases discussed in the article.</span></span></span></p>SERGEI L. MOSYAKINDIRK C. <p align="justify"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman, serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">A new species of <em>Passiflora</em> belonging to the subgenus <em>Passiflora </em>(supersection <em>Stipulata</em>, section <em>Kermesinae</em>) is described and illustrated from living material and herbarium specimens. <em>Passiflora pitalensis </em>is similar to <em>P. lehmannii</em>, and it can be recognized primarily by its petiole green, leaves with broader lobes, peduncle green, bract lanceolate, corona filaments in 5 series with outer filaments in 2 series, fruit ovoid, and seed margin dentate. This species is rare and endemic to Colombia in the Andean region at elevations ranging from 1,749–2,027 m and should be considered Endangered (EN) due to its restricted occurrence with a small population size of no more than 90 individuals. </span></span></span></p>EDWIN ARRIGUI-TORRESJOHN A. <p align="justify"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman, serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><em>Lentinus punjabensis, </em>from the biodiverse Lal Suhanra National Park in southern Punjab, Pakistan, is the first new species of <em>Lentinus</em> for the country. It is characterized by an applanate pileus with a dark brown depressed center, erect scales, decurved margins, eroded lamellae, oblong to sometimes lacrymoid basidiospores, clavate to lageniform or sometimes lacrymoid cheilocystidia, and the presence of a dimitic hyphal system in the pileipellis. Our study presents the taxonomic position, using morphology, and molecular characterization, based on phylogenetic analyses of ITS and 28S sequences, to prove the distinctiveness of the new species. We provide an illustrated morphological description and comparison with morphologically similar or phylogenetically related species. <p align="justify"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman, serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">A new polypore in the family Hymenochaetaceae, <em>Coltricia aridicola</em>, is described and illustrated from China and the USA based on morphology and phylogenetic analysis. The species was found in northeast and southwest China and western USA, growing on soil in gymnosperm forests. It is characterized by an annual growth habit, centrally stipitate basidiocarps with regular pilei, pileal surface distinctly zonate, medium-sized pores as 3–4 per mm, a monomitic hyphal system, generative hyphae with simple septa, the presence of antler-like hyphal elements at the pileal surface, contextual hyphae almost twice the diameter of the tramal hyphae, thick-walled, yellowish, cyanophilous, oblong-ellipsoid basidiospores measuring 7–7.8 × 4.5–4.8 µm, and growth in dry environments such as burnt soil or open areas of ground in gymnosperm forests. The phylogenetic analysis based on ITS sequences showed that samples of <em>C. aridicola</em> nested in <em>Coltricia</em>, forming a monophyletic lineage with strong support (100 % BS, 100 % BP, 1.00 BPP). A distribution map is provided. The species is critically endangered and endemic to Copán and Lempira, Honduras. It differs from <em>M. celaquensis </em>in many morphological features. <p align="justify"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman, serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><em>Nasa ojedae</em> (Loasaceae), a new species of the Neotropical genus <em>Nasa</em> is here formally described from the fragmented montane wet forests of Reserva El Corazón, on the western slopes of the central Andes of Ecuador. It is one of the few, yellow-flowered, species of the <em>Nasa grandiflora </em>group and one of the few, coarse, biennial herbs in this otherwise shrubby or rhizomatous group. The new species is illustrated and the relationships with morphologically similar species are discussed.
