Abstract

Zygodon permollis Warnst. is Anoectangium aestivum (Hedw.) Mitt.; Anoectangium pleuroweisioides J. Froehl. is A. hornschuchianum (Hook.) Hornsch.; Desmatodon raucopapillosum X.j. Li and Tortula planifolia X.j. Li are D. latifolius (Hedw.) Brid.; Didymodon australasiae (Hook. and Grev.) R.H. Zander is reported new for China and India. Didymodon gaochienii B.C. Tan and J. Yu is D. fragilicuspes Broth.; Barbula pallidobasis Dixon and Molendoa japonica Broth. are Didymodon glaucus Ryan. Tortula pseudoprinceps (Müll. Hal.) Dixon is Syntrichia ruraliformis (Besch.) Mans.; Tortula longimucronata X.j. Li is S. sinensis (Müll. Hal.) Ochyra. The few reports of Tortula intermedia (Brid.) De Not. for the Himalayan region should be checked. This taxon very likely does not occur in the region.
