Abstract
Two new interesting species of archaeorthopterans are described from the Moscovian locality of Piesberg quarry near Osnabrück (Lower Saxony, Germany). Omalia alexrasnitsyni sp. nov. and ?Paraspiculum carloherdi sp. nov. (Caloneurodea) are described based on nearly complete forewing venation and the latter assigned to clade Panorthoptera. These new species further expand on the insect diversity that has been found at Piesberg quarry as well as the morphological disparity of venation patterns seen in Palaeozoic polyneopterans.
