Abstract

This paper reviews the taxonomic research on the superfamily Tydeoidea in China, with a checklist of 41 named species belonging to 14 genera and four families in the Tydeoidea. Contributions to the Chinese fauna of the Tydeoidea were made mainly by Xin Jie-Liu, Tseng Hsiung, Zhu Zhi-Min and Li Long-Shu (and colleagues). A single paper on the biology of a Tydeus species and its use in biocontrol in China is briefly discussed.
