On the genus Fritzruehlia Schmidt, 1924 (Hemiptera: Fulgoroidea: Tropiduchidae)

Abstract

The tropiduchid genus Fritzruehlia Schmidt, 1924 is reviewed, with a new species described from Bas-Uélé Province of northern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Fritzruehlia gibbosa (Lallemand, 1942) is reinstalled from the synonymy with F. longifrons Schmidt, 1924. Key to species of the genus and the map of distribution are given.
