Abstract
The Palaearctic species of the digger wasps subgenus Hoplocrabro Thomson, 1874 of the genus Crossocerus Lepeletier de Saint Fargeau and Brullé, 1835 are reviewed, and a key to both sexes is given. A diagnosis for the subgenus is provided and three Palearctic species are recognized, of which Crossocerus omissus is new. Crossocerus pseudopalmarius (Gussakovskij, 1932) is synonymized with Crossocerus palmipes (Linnaeus, 1767) and Crossocerus asiaticus Tsuneki, 1967 resurrected from synonymy.
