Abstract
A new species of the extinct genus Archizelmira Rohdendorf, 1962 is described based on an isolated wing from the Middle Jurassic of West Siberia (Itat Formation, Bathonian). Both previously known species are re-examined. Additional wing venation characters are found for the genus, which support its status as a sister group to the rest of the family. A new Cretaceous subfamily, Burmazelmirinae subfam. nov. is proposed.
