Stephanitis (Norba) syoitii sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Tingidae) from Taiwan, China

Abstract

A new species of the subgenus Norba Horváth, 1912 of the lace bug genus Stephanitis Stål, 1873 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Tingidae), from Taiwan, China, is described under the name of S. (N.) syoitii sp. nov. This new species is different from other species of Stephanitis, mainly by the shape of its pronotum and hemelytron.
