Abstract
Five new records are provided in Acanthocinini (Lamiinae): Leptostylus guianensis Vlasak & Santos-Silva, 2021, new country record for Brazil (Pará); Leptostylus indistinctus Vlasak & Santos-Silva, 2021, new country record for Honduras (Francisco Morazán); Leptostylus cineraceus Bates, 1874, new states records for Mexico (Yucatán, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas, and Nuevo León); Sternidius chemsaki Lewis, 1977, new country record for Mexico (Sinaloa); and Trichastylopsis albidus (LeConte, 1852), new state record for Mexico (Jalisco). Leptostylus albicinctus Bates, 1885 is synonymized with Leptostylus cineraceus Bates, 1874. Trichastylopsis Dillon, 1956 is synonymized with Trichalphus Bates, 1881 and a key to species of the genus is provided. Two new species are described: Leptostylus flavolineatus sp. nov., from Mexico (Tamaulipas); and Trichalphus sinuatus sp. nov., from Nicaragua (Nueva Segóvia).
