Abstract
A new species of the hitherto monotypic whitefly genus Bulgarialeurodes Corbett is described and illustrated: Bulgarialeurodes longiceriferus sp. nov. from Fujian Province. With the new species, previous diagnoses of the genus are re-evaluated and refined. Diagnostic characters distinguishing the new species from its sole congener are provided. This represents the first record of the genus in the Oriental Region of China. Habitus images, line illustrations, and SEM microphotographs are provided.
