Abstract
Soyedina parkeri sp. nov. (Plecoptera: Nemouridae) is described from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, USA. This species was recognized as new over 15 years ago by the junior authors but had yet to be formally described until now. Soyedina parkeri sp. nov. appears closely-related only to S. sheldoni Grubbs & Baumann, 2019 due to shared characteristics of the sclerotized inner member of the epiproct. Soyedina parkeri sp. nov. can be readily separated from all other nine species of eastern Nearctic Soyedina by the broadly rounded apical portion of the outer paraproct lobe.
