Abstract
Nipponophloeostiba hammondi sp. nov., a new species from India (Uttarakhand), is described and illustrated. Based by some details of the body, this species is similar to Malaysian N. thayeri Shavrin, 2020, from which can be distinguished by different proportions of the pronotum and the elytra, and different morphology of the aedeagus. This is the first record of the genus from the Himalayan Region and India.
