Abstract
A species, Megamegus shevketi Marshall & Lodos 1979, is an endemic agricultural pest in western Turkey. Series of specimens recently collected at vineyards (Vitis vinifera L.) in the Aegean Region of Turkey allowed conducting detailed morphological studies developing an identification tool for this endemic pest weevil species. Internal morphological characters of terminalia segments and genitalia structure of female are described and illustrated for the first time. Megamecus bidentatus (Gebler, 1829) is firstly recorded for Turkish fauna.
