Descriptions of Four New Species of the Genus Peritropis Uhler (Miridae, Cylapinae) from Brunei Darussalam

Abstract

Four new species of Peritropis Uhler, 1891 (P. ahmadsahae new species., P. gorczycai new species., P. ubdiber new species, and P. wolskii new species) are described from Brunei. Scanning electron micrographs of selected structures and images of the adults of the new species are provided. Illustrations of female genitalia of P. ahmadsahae new species and male genitalia of P. gorczycai new species, P. lugubris Poppius, 1909, P. ubdiber new species, and P. wolskii new species as well as dorsal habitus photographs of P. lugubris, P. poppiana Bergroth, 1918, and P. similis Poppius, 1909 are given.
