Abstract
Currently, the Palaearctic genus Emblethis Fieber, 1860 comprises 29 species (Péricart 2001). Up to date, the 5th instars were known only for five species representing this genus, i.e., E. ciliatus Horváth, E. verbasci (Fabricius), E. griseus (Wolff), E. denticollis Horváth, and E. minutus Kiritshenko— descriptions and keys for their identification were provided by Putshkov (1969), and Péricart (1999).
