Abstract
Bembidion kmecoi sp. nov. herewith described, sister species of Bembidion farkaci Toledano & Sciaky, 1998, is the third species of the subgenus Plataphodes Ganglbauer, 1891 known from China. A key for the identification of these species is provided. Another species, B. elatum Andrewes, 1930, formerly known as Plataphodes, is transferred to Blepharoplataphus Netolitzky, 1920. Nomenclatorial acts proposed in this paper: Description of Bembidion (Plataphodes) kmecoi sp. nov. (China); Species transferred from Bembidion subg. Plataphodes Ganglbauer, 1891 to Bembidion subg.
