Abstract
Two new species of Chauhanellus Bychowsky & Nagibina, 1969 (Dactylogyridae: Ancyrocephalinae) are described from the gills of marine catfishes from the Southwestern Atlantic: Chauhanellus neotropicalis n. sp. from Aspistor luniscutis (Valenciennes, 1840), and Chauhanellus boegeri n. sp. from Genidens barbus (Lacepède, 1803) and Genidens genidens (Cuvier, 1829). This is the first report of species of Chauhanellus in the Atlantic waters and the Neotropical region.References
