Abstract

Distinctaleyrodes setosus Dubey & Sundararaj gen. et sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) found on Derris sp. from Kudremukh National Park in Karnataka state of India is described and illustrated. This species is unique in the grossly swollen form of the major dorsal setae.
