Abstract
The larva, pupa, and imago of Neozavrelia cuneipennis comb. nov., previously placed in Tanytarsus, Stempellina and Stempellinella, are described and diagnosed. Illustrations of all stages as well as a partial COI gene sequence are presented. Neozavrelia longappendiculata is listed as a new junior synonym of N. cuneipennis, and Zavrelia kibunensis is given a new combination and now placed in Neozavrelia. An annotated overview of the world’s valid Neozavrelia species is given.References
