New species of Macrostomus Wiedemann (Diptera, Empididae) from Colombia, Ecuador and Peru

Abstract

Six new species of Macrostomus Wiedemann are described and figured, namely M. alpinus (Colombia, Ecuador), M. ciliaticosta (Ecuador, Peru, Brazil), M. lineatus (Ecuador, Peru), M. occidentalis (Colombia), M. penai (Ecuador, Peru) and M. tarsalis (Ecuador).
