A new genus and species of Vartini (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Deltocephalinae) from Africa

Abstract

A new genus and species of the leafhopper tribe Vartini are described.  Afrovarta angelae gen. & sp. nov. are described based on specimens from Ghana, Cameroon, and Gabon.
