Abstract
Six species of the genus Jacaena Thorell, 1897 from China were studied, including two known species, J. jinxini Liu & Xu, 2020 and J. zhui (Zhang & Fu, 2011), and four new species: J. aspera sp. n. (♂, ♀) from Yunnan and Chongqing, J. bannaensis sp. n. (♂, ♀) from Yunnan and Hainan, J. luteolus sp. n. (♂) from Guangdong and J. menglaensis sp. n. (♂) from Yunnan. A distribution map of Jacaena species in China is provided.
