Abstract
The family Sisyridae (spongillaflies) constitute a minor group of Neuroptera, with 72 extant species in four genera. Sisyrina Banks, 1939 is a rare spongillafly genus, which previously comprised only three known species respectively from Australia, China, and India. Here we describe two new species of Sisyrina, namely Sisyrina fashengi sp. nov. from China and Laos, and Sisyrina vietnamica sp. nov. from Vietnam. Sisyrina qiong Yang & Gao, 2002 from Hainan Island is also redescribed. A key to the species of Sisyrina is provided.
