Abstract

We report for the first time the presence of the genus Semioscopis Hübner, 1825 and four species of the superfamily Gelechioidea in Korea, namely Coleophora serinipennella Christoph, 1872 (Coleophoridae), Semioscopis japonicella Saito, 1989 (Depressariidae), Anarsia isogona Meyrick, 1913 (Gelechiidae) and Dichomeris syndyas Meyrick, 1926 (Gelechiidae). In addition, we provide redescription and diagnostic characteristics for each species, based on previous descriptions and additional morphological data acquired.
