First record of the genus Chorinaeus Holmgren, 1858 (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) from India and Thailand with the description of two new species

Hymenoptera Metopiinae new genus record parasitoid South East Asia

Abstract

The metopiine genus, Chorinaeus Holmgren is reported for the first time from India and Thailand. We describe and illustrate two new species, C. amrithae Ranjith & Butcher (from India and Thailand) and C. femiae Ranjith & Butcher (from Thailand). A taxonomic key to the identification of the Oriental species of Chorinaeus is provided.
