Abstract
Three parasitic wasps of the families Braconidae (Dolichogenidea Viereck, 1911) and Ichneumonidae (Temelucha Foerster, 1869 and Trathala Cameron, 1899) are recorded for the Arabian Peninsula from Saudi Arabia, with Dolichogenidea and Trathala being first records. Dolichogenidea faifaiensis Edmardash & Gadallah (Microgastrinae) and Trathala jazanica Gadallah & Edmardash (Cremastinae), are described and illustrated as new species. All specimens were reared from the larvae and pupae of a phycitine moth (Pyralidae) developing in galls formed by Eriophyes liosoma (Nalepa) mite (Eriophyidae) on Christ thorn jujuba Ziziphus spina-christi (L.) (Rhamnaceae) branches in Jazan province, south-western region of Saudi Arabia. The two new species are here recorded for the first time in association with the phycitine moth and Z. spina-christi.
