On Lamiinae (Cerambycidae, Coleoptera) from the Neotropical region: new species and taxonomic notes

Abstract

Two new species are described from Mexico: Colombicallia copei sp. nov. (Calliini); and Estoloides poggii sp. nov. (Desmiphorini). A key to species of Colombicallia Galileo & Martins, 1992 is provided. The holotype of Drycothaea guatemalana Breuning, 1950 is illustrated for the first time, and this species, together with D. mexicana Breuning, 1974, are synonymized with D. sallei Thomson, 1868. Trichestola Breuning, 1950 is synonymized with Drycothaea Thomson, 1868. Notes on Paradrycothaea Galileo & Martins, 2010, together with an updated key to species, are provided. The male of Eupogonius nayeliae Santos-Silva, Wappes & Galileo is illustrated for the first time and compared with the female holotype. Notes on Estoloides dthomasi Santos-Silva, Wappes & Galileo, 2018, and a new Mexican state record for Trichalphus albidus (LeConte, 1852) are provided. Additionally, corrections in two previously published works are indicated.
