Abstract
In the present paper a new genus of Syrphini from China is described: Flavizona Huo, gen. nov. The type species is designated as Flavizona dolichostigma Huo, sp. nov. The new genus is similar in appearance to Leucozona Schiner, 1860, but can easily be distinguished from the latter by indistinct facial medial tubercle, wing without dark brown medial maculae and elongate oval abdomen without premarginal sulcus. A key to genera of Syrphini in China is provided.References
