Abstract
Two species, Empis (Planempis) prolongata sp. nov. (Hubei, China) and E. (P.) shennongana sp. nov. (Hubei, China), are described as new to science. These two new species, which are similar to E. (P.) dahuriensis Shamshev, are characterized by veins M 1 and M 2 incomplete and not reaching the wing margin. A key to the known species of the subgenus Planempis from China is presented.References
