Abstract
Australnirvana gen. n., based on Nirvana adelaideae Evans, 1938, from Australia is described and illustrated. The male and female genitalia of A. adelaideae (Evans), n. comb. are described and illustrated for the first time. The new genus is similar to the central African genus Afronirvana Evans in structure and coloration but differs in the male in lacking a ventral pygofer appendage and having the subgenital plate broad and oblique distally and lacking ventral macrosetae.
