Abstract

The mirine plant bug genus Phytocoris Fallén, 1814 in Korea is reviewed. Eight species are recognized, including the first record of P. minakatai Yasunaga & Schwartz, 2015 from Korea and a new species herein described, P. goryeonus sp. nov. Each species is diagnosed, with habitus photographic images. Also, the little-known east Asian P. intricatus Flor and P. shabliovskii Kerzhner are redescribed. A key is provided to facilitate identifications of the Korean Phytocoris species.
