Lepidoptera Noctuidae Acronictinae

Abstract

The genus Subleuconycta Kozhantshikov, 1950 belongs to the noctuid subfamily Acronictinae (Kozhantshikov 1950, Kononenko 2005, 2010) and has long been known to contain only two described species (Poole 1989, Kononenko 2010). Subleuconycta palshkovi (Filipjev, 1937) occurs in the Eastern Manchurian subregion of the Palaearctic Realm, while Subleuconycta sugii Boursin, 1962 is endemic to Taiwan.
