Three new species of Loboschiza Diakonoff, 1968 (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae: Olethreutinae) with redescriptions of L. mediana (Walker, 1864) and L. martia (Meyrick, 1911), two new records from Thailand

Lepidoptera new species new record Enarmoniini Thailand

Abstract

Loboschiza mediana (Walker, 1866) and Loboschiza martia (Meyrick, 1911) are recorded from Thailand for the first time and redescribed. Loboschiza ellipsa sp. nov., Loboschiza namphromensis sp. nov., and Loboschiza sictriquetra sp. nov. from Thailand are described as new to science. These taxa increase the number of described Loboschiza species to 24 worldwide and to 12 in Thailand. Illustrations of adults and genitalia are provided. A key to Loboschiza species in Thailand is also provided.
