Abstract
A third species of the genus Seticotasteromimus Germann, 2013 (Pissodini, Cotasteromimina) from the Cameron Highlands of Malaysia was accidentally discovered in the collections of the Natural History Museum Basel, during the separation of different weevil subfamilies. Seticotasteromimus crassirostris n. sp., is here described, based on a single male specimen, compared and differentiated from its sister species S. jarawa Germann, 2013 and S. brunomanseri Germann, 2021.
