A new species and a new record of Kamimuria Klapálek (Plecoptera: Perlidae) from western China

Abstract

A new species of the genus Kamimuria Klapálek, 1907, K. gyracantha sp. nov., from Gansu, Sichuan, and Shaanxi provinces of western China is described. Kamimuria curriei Sivec & Stark, 2008, a species previously known only from Vietnam, is recorded for the first time from Guizhou Zone, China. Illustrations and color images are provided for each species and the new species is compared with related congeners.
