Abstract

A new species of Taeniogonalos Schulz, T. manickavasagami sp. nov., is described and illustrated from Kerala, south India. An updated key to the eleven species known from India and Sri Lanka, including the new species described in this paper, is provided. A distributional map of Taeniogonalos species reported from India is given. Taeniogonalos pictipennis Strand, 1914 reported from China and Taiwan is found to be a valid species (stat. rev.).
