Diptera Sobarocephala Sobarocephalinae druid flies new species taxonomy

Abstract

Species of the genus Sobarocephala Czerny, 1903 known from China are rerviewed. The following two species are described as new to science: S. luchunensis sp. nov. and S. lophacanthus sp. nov. Sobarocephala mitsuii Sasakawa, 1995 was recorded for the first time in Jiangxi and Fujian, China. An updated key to the species of Sobarocephala from China is presented.
