Abstract

The genus Streblocera Westwood with four subgenera Asiastreblocera Belokobylskij, Eutanycerus Förster, Streblocera Westwood and Villocera Chen & van Achterberg, from Vietnam, is revised with nine new species described and fully illustrated, viz. Streblocera (Asiastreblocera) laichauensis Long, sp. nov.; S. (Eutanycerus) hatinhensis Long, sp. nov.; S. (E.) neutra Long, sp. nov.; S. (E.) netrangana Long, sp. nov.; S. (E.) parucifera Long, sp. nov.; S. (Streblocera) duplicata Long, sp. nov.; S. (S.) huuliena Long & PQMai, sp. nov.; S. (S.) necurvata Long, sp. nov.; and S. (S.) setosa Long, sp. nov. Two subgenera, Streblocera and Villocera are recorded for the first time in Vietnam, with S. (Eutanycerus) cornis Chen & He, 2000 and S. (Villocera) villosa Papp, 1985 newly recorded. The comparative morphological characters of Streblocera species are discussed and an illustrated key to four subgenera and Streblocera species of Vietnam. Their in-country distribution are also mapped.
