Abstract

The primary types of thirty-five tortricid species described by N. N. Filipjev, deposited in the collection of Zoological Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia, are listed and discussed. Lectotypes are designated for seven of these: Semasia elongata Filipjev, 1924; Piercea fulvimixta Filipjev, 1940; Semasia gracilis Filipjev, 1924; Phalonia lanceolata Filipjev, 1924; Piercea lydiae Filipjev, 1940; Polychrosis subherculeana Filipjev, 1924 and Ancylis transientana Filipjev, 1926. Descriptions of the labels and photographs of adults are given for all species. Images of genitalia slides are provided for thirty-two of them. Pamene [sic!] seminotata Filipjev, 1926 is synonymized with Pammene regiana (Zeller, 1849) (syn. nov.). Eucosma gracilis (Filipjev, 1924) is removed from the synonymy with Eucosma wimmerana (Treitschke, 1835) and considered as a separate species (stat. rev.).
