Abstract

A new species of the New World derbid planthopper genus Otiocerus, O. rubilineata sp. nov., is described and illustrated from EI Yunque National Forest, Puerto Rico, and a key to species is provided. Two species, Otiocerus fontis Fennah, 1952 and Otiocerus lyncaeste Fennah, 1952, are transferred to Shellenius Ball as new combinations, S. fontis comb. nov. and S. lyncaeste comb. nov..
