Abstract

The genus Opamata was established by Dworakowska in 1971, with Opamata kwietniowa Dworakowska as type species. Here one new species, Opamata zizhongi Yan & Yang, sp. nov., is described and illustrated and Opamata novembris Dworakowska and Opamata styczniowa Dworakowska, are newly recorded from China. In addition, the base composition of mitochondrial genome of Opamata lipcowa was reported for the first time. An updated key and a checklist of all species are provided. The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Entomology of Guizhou University.
