First Notoxus Geoffroy, 1762 (Coleoptera: Anthicidae) from the Cardamom Hills of the Western Ghats with new faunistic records

Abstract

Notoxus yelamala sp. nov., the first representative of its genus from the Cardamom Hills of the Western Ghats, is described and illustrated. New faunistic records are provided for eight Palaearctic and three Oriental species of Notoxus Geoffroy, 1762 including new country records for Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, and Syria.
