Abstract

In 2023 and 2024, 150 neuropteran specimens belonging to 20 species were collected using light traps in Iraqi Kurdistan during summer and autumn. Of these, 13 species are new records to the Iraqi fauna. The most important species from a faunistic point of view are: Cueta anomala Navás, 1915, Cueta minervae Hölzel, 1972, Distoleon formosus Hölzel, 1972, Quinemurus cinereus Kimmins, 1943 (Myrmeleontidae) and Mansellasca fabiani (Mészáros & Ábrahám, 2005) (Ascalaphidae).
