Abstract
A new genus, Ptychopterum gen. nov., is erected to accommodate Hysteropterum dolichotum Gnezdilov et Mazzoni, 2004, with a new combination proposed—Ptychopterum dolichotum (Gnezdilov et Mazzoni, 2004), comb. nov. The species is redescribed along with fifth instar nymph, and female genitalia structures are described and illustrated for the first time.
