Abstract

In the present article, we describe four new species of the genus Striogyia Holloway, 1986 from India: S. hollowayi sp. nov., S. sumi sp. nov., S. arunachala sp. nov. and S. kamiensis sp. nov. Until now, the genus Striogyia was known to include seven species distributed in South East Asia and China. The present study increases the number of known species in the genus to 11 and extends its distributional range to India. A taxonomic key and a checklist of all known species of the genus is also provided.
