Abstract
Blaps (Blaps) chinensis (Faldermann, 1835) is an endemic species to north-central China. We provide the first description and illustration of the egg and pupal stages of this species, supplemented by additional larval and adult morphology. Updated keys to 24 larval and 11 pupal stages of Chinese Blaps species are presented. Additionally, we report the first complete mitochondrial genome sequence and analysis for B. (B) chinensis.
