Abstract

Two new species of Iliana Bell, 1937, subgenus Torgus Grishin 2023 (Pyrginae, Carcharodini, Ilianina) are herein described: Iliana (Torgus) taurina Medeiros & O. Mielke, 2026 sp. nov., from Rio Tamampaya, La Paz, Bolivia, and Iliana (Torgus) xapuri Medeiros & O. Mielke, 2026 sp. nov. from Seringal Esperança, Xapuri, Acre, Brazil. The males of the two new species are illustrated and an identification key for Iliana subgenera and for male of the species of Iliana (Torgus) are provided.
