Abstract

The fairyfly genus Dicopomorpha Ogloblin (Hymenoptera: Mymaridae) is recorded for the first time from Europe. The female of D. liaoningensis (Lou, Cao & Lou), originally described from Northeastern China, is redescribed based on specimens from New Zealand, Poland and United Kingdom, and its previously unknown male is described and illustrated. Litus longitus Aishan is transferred to Dicopomorpha as D. longita (Aishan), comb. nov. A key to females of the three Palaearctic species of Dicopomorpha is presented.
