Abstract
An examination of museum material indicated that the lectotypes of Goniobasis christyi Lea, 1862 and G. instabilis Lea, 1862, along with recent collections of putative Elimia interrupta (Haldeman, 1840), represent a new species separate from E. interrupta, sensu stricto. We propose the name E. christyi for the new species, and provide re-descriptions of it and E. interrupta.References
